·      Mediation: A form of alternative dispute resolution; a way of resolving disputes between two or more parties with concrete effects

·      Alienation: Process of psychological manipulation (by a parent) of a child into showing unwarranted fear, disrespect or hostility towards a parent or other family members

·      Reunification: Used when there has been a separation and/or parental alienation between a parent and their child(ren). This dynamic is due to conflict divorce, past abuse, domestic violence, etc.

·      Co-Parenting: Parents divorce each other but do not require the child to divorce one of the parents, either as a result of parental conflict or by one parent not being available to the child

o   Help restructure the parents’ communication so they can learn to more effectively and safely approach each other

o   Address outstanding issues involving their children that can range from behavioral problems to scheduling difficulties, etc.

·      Family Therapy: Psychological counseling that helps family members improve communications and resolve conflicts

·      Individual Therapy: Clients work one-on-one with a trained therapist to explore their feelings, beliefs, or behaviors in a confidential environment

·      Child Custody Evaluations: A summary of an investigation into a child’s home, family environment, and background, and other circumstances of a child which is used to determine child custody and access during contested divorce proceedings.
