· Mediation: A form of alternative dispute resolution; a way of resolving disputes between two or more parties with concrete effects
· Alienation: Process of psychological manipulation (by a parent) of a child into showing unwarranted fear, disrespect or hostility towards a parent or other family members
· Reunification: Used when there has been a separation and/or parental alienation between a parent and their child(ren). This dynamic is due to conflict divorce, past abuse, domestic violence, etc.
